Job Title: Head of Legal (Mining Industry)
The Heed of Legal will be responsible for all legal and compliance activities such a implementation of Kit procedures in regards to various external counter-parties, negotiation art implementation of material contract, compliance with industry /governmental regulation and laws etc.
Job Description
- Establish various legal end compliance procedures to be implemented across the company and its affiliates
- Ensure that all activities within the company and its affiliates are in compliance with various industry and governmental laws/regulations
- Manage all legal activities including preparing and reviewing contract letter agreements, and other legal document
- Participate in negotiations with third parties
- Supervise and manage eternal legal consultants and external legal counterparties
- Ensure appropriate legal record keeping for the company and its affiliates
Requirements:
- Position based in Jakarta
- Bachelor/Master Degree it Strom reputable university
- Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a mining company/contractor industry or with the top ten Indonesia law firms
- Lawyer (PERADI) license holder ss must
- Previous private equity experience a strong advantage
- Previous experience of setting up arid building a legal department and experience in the mining industry a strong advantage
- Extensive knowledge of Indonesian Law and Regulations excellent skill and problem solving abilities
- Able to deal with government institutions and manage legal conk and from foreign jurisdiction
